I am almost pure PvE. I love to explore and there is plenty of that to do in GW. I have one character that has Grandmaster Cart for both continents and am currently working on my second. The addition of titles was brilliant in my opinion and will keep me playing for a long time. I love this game!

People flame this topic all the time for odd reasons; as if flaming will suddenly alter ones' opinion or state of mind on their prefered play style. Lets hope the flameboys stay away as I am always interested in differing points of view and love to hear the whys.
I'm 100% PvE in GW. I've tried the PvP in GW but really didn't care for the way it played; it was too rushed and had other issues I didn't care for. Of course, one of the things that makes GW good IMO is that it can cater to different playstyles so well. I mean, look at how rabid players become when the style they enjoy gets put down. hehe |

Although I am mostly a PvE player, I do enjoy some PvP and GvG every once in a while. I am currently looking into how to get my guild more involved in PvP, while keeping it's focus on PvE

I play both. I played exclusively PvE until about late June last year. Then, I started PvPing. I got all of my rank 3 fame during the PvPX weekend, which was loads of fun. (And I still have a soft spot in my heart for smiting. ) After a while, I started making my PvE monk PvP-ready, which meant capping elites I had unlocked through faction already. (YAY!!! For having to buy a skill more than once.)

I'm all about the PvE.
I don't like all the emotion that goes into PvP and no matter how it ends up, there's always anger, at least a little and maybe not directed at the players, but it's still there. GW: P and GW: F provice enourmous areas to explore, a pretty decent story and a system that makes forming a team with only one or two friends easy (henchies). It is a beautiful game to look at and I like taking my time and wandering (level 17 E/Mo and only just got to Lions Arch with missions still behind me to finish yet). |

i am about 90% pve. i havent done any pvp in a while but once i get my guild built up i want to start doing some gvg. but it seems that only the guilds with ts or vent can compete in the top ranks. i have heard rumors that anet is going to be coming out with their own voice chat system that everyone that plays gw's can use it for free. that would definitely help my guild out and i would then do alot more gvg. but until then i am playing pve.

Mostly PvE but I like PvP matches which are somewhat random like Random Arena, Alliance Battles, Fort Aspenwood and Jade's Quarry. Organized PvP matches are a bit too serious for my taste.

Both. I like pwning those poor AI buggers, and I like pwning those poor bugger that don't HAVE any intelligence, AKA 99% of RA's Whammo's.

I prefer PvP but I also enjoy PvE. When I began playing I was exclusively PvE and I tried to squeeze just about every drop of value from that aspect of the that I could. Then it started to get a little old. PvP provided a whole new maze of possibilities that reminded me a lot more of the days when I played Magic (looks around nervously for incoming flame). I find now that there is more sustainable depth in PvP, but I also still enjoy pve. I've simply begun spending more of my time on the other side of the GW coin. Of course someday when all my wealth is wasted on buying cool stuff for my pvp toons I'll be forced back in the salt mines of farming.

Never PvP, and dont understand its popularity. If I want to play against other people, I play FPS games. Other than that, none.
